Mike’s life was destitute in a rural Honduras. He and his sister Jenifer would walk over low lying hills for two hours to attend the nearest school. There was one teacher for all the students and often Mike struggled to understand what was being taught. He was rarely home due to harvesting coffee or planting rice and corn to help support his family. His sister came to Jericho in January of 2019 because she wanted to study and live in a safe environment, but her heart always longed for her siblings to have the same opportunity. God opened the doors this year for Mike and his brother Helsin to come to live in our Boy's House in Tegucigalpa. We are excited to see how Mike grows and flourishes in God.
