Rut
Rut comes from a region of Honduras where young girls are expected to clean their home and care for their siblings. Getting an education is not a priority. Adolescent girls typically go work the coffee fields or sell tortillas to locals. Rut came to Jericho because she wants to study and have a different future. She is very responsible and enjoys learning English. She is thrilled to be living and studying at Jericho.
