Katerin came to Jericho because she wants to study in a safe environment. The mountain community where Katerin and her sisters lived is quite isolated. Unfortunately, there were some unsavory characters preying on young girls who had to walk many miles to get to school. Katerin lived in fear of predators. She loves living in a safe Jericho home and enjoys the fellowship of a big family.
